Running Every Street Challenge: 50% Complete
When I first laced up my shoes and set out to run every street in Ormond Beach, I had no idea how many streets there even were in the City. It sounded bold, maybe even a little impossible. But challenges are supposed to feel that way. They are designed to stretch you, test you, and remind you that real growth happens one step at a time.
I have officially completed 50 percent of the streets in our community. Halfway there. Each street I check off the map is proof that momentum builds with consistency. It is not about the perfect run. It is about showing up again and again until the challenge becomes a part of who you are.
Something unexpected has happened along the way. People have started to ask me about the challenge. Friends, neighbors, even strangers stop to say, “How is it going?” What began as a personal goal has grown into a community conversation. That is the beauty of putting yourself out there. When people see you chase something big, they start to wonder what’s possible for themselves.
The Every Street Challenge has reminded me of something we live by at Iris Communications. Progress is built step by step, and credibility is earned by finishing what you start. Just as this project has drawn interest and sparked momentum, your story has the power to inspire others too.
At Iris Communications, we see challenges as turning points. A networking gap can become a bridge to new relationships. A tough event can become the moment people remember your leadership. A reputation crisis can become a chance to show resilience and win back trust.
Just like the Every Street Challenge, success doesn’t happen all at once. It comes from mapping the route, staying disciplined, and celebrating the small victories along the way. That is the strategy we bring to our clients. We guide them through each step, turning obstacles into opportunities, and ensuring the finish line is always in sight.
If you are sitting on an idea that feels too big, too bold, or maybe even a little impossible, I encourage you to start. Start with one block, one step, one phone call. Momentum will come. And if you need a partner to help you map the streets of your business goals, Iris Communications is ready to run beside you.
Halfway is only the beginning. The finish line is still out there, and every step forward counts.
